With effect from July 1, SingTel will be reducing local data bundles from 12GB to between two to four GB. Every additional 2KB of data used will incur a 1 cent charge, amounting to $5.35 per GB -- capped at $94 per month.

The revision in mobile price plans was announced yesterday (June 4) with SingTel's launch of its fourth-generation (4G) mobile services, which will take effect today (June 5). Users of the 4G network can access the internet up to five times faster than maximum speeds on the existing 3G network.
