Better be safe than sorry.. contact MOM as soon as possible and get their approval first.

You mentioned "former" so I suppose she is not here in Singapore on WP. Should be no issue if you marry back home and bring her here on DP (of course, dependent on the type of your pass). Anyway, more readings with some actual experiences. Should be helpful..

kaya sabi ko unless may recent changes, no worries. Very Happy

Please be informed that as a condition of the grant of a work permit, the foreigner is required to obtain the approval of the Controller of Work Passes before marrying a Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident (SPR), regardless of whether the marriage is contracted in or outside Singapore. This condition applies while the foreigner holds a work permit, and also after his/her work permit has expired or has been cancelled or revoked.

so nagpaalam nalang kami. kasi yung co-worker niya na currently holding a work permit nagpaalam din nagrant naman so ngayon kasal na sila nung PR and nagwowork parin sya ngayon sa hospital.

Salamat po! Razz
