Good day to All.
I am planning to apply for a PR status. I am just 3 months turning 4 months here in Singpaore. I am holding an EP-P status. I would like to ask for some advice and would you recommend if I will apply for PR status as early as now?
Is it still premature for me to apply now or applying this early is a right thing to do. One thing that push me to apply as early as now is that my CPF (employer contribution) will be given to me (to fund) once I will have a PR status only. And there more other reasons why applying for PR is beneficial to me.
Hope to hear something from you especially those who have the same expereince and situation before.
Warm regards,
Bong |

just for info.. the CPF employer contribution will not be given to you as salary.. it will be credited to you CPF account which you cannot wdraw or use for normal everday expenses... this CPF account can be used to buy properties(HDB) and pay for monthly installment... you will also have medisave acct, medishield which will be used in case you get hospitalized...
better weigh your pros and cons... |

hi, if i were u..wag muna kc mxado pa maaga, dapat kc atleast 6 months ka na working b4 u can apply..that's the minimum..kc marami ako frnds na nareject kc di daw sufficient ung stay nila sa SG to apply..and once ur rejected, they will only allow u to apply after a yr or if worst comes to worst after 2 yrs...so mas ok na maghintay na muna pra sure kesa ma reject. |

HOW huh??? |

Luck is a big factor indeed, but Luck works better when you comply
You may ask yung mga na-approve jan if they qualified for these points, if they say that these are nonesense and statistics prove it then go ahead
| Quote: | Professionals, Technical Personnel & Skilled Workers Scheme (PTS)
Permanent Residents (PR) status under this scheme is conferred to those who have secured employment in Singapore prior to PR application. They should also hold an Employment Pass (P or Q Pass). The spouse and unmarried children (below 21 years of age) of a PR may also apply for PR status. Applicants under this scheme will be assessed by a Points System, which takes into account the:
• type of employment pass
• duration of stay in Singapore
• academic qualifications
• basic monthly salary
• age
• kinship ties in Singapore |

May isang page po sa application form that requires information from employer. Employment certificate may not be submitted.
As per our case wala kami ipinasa na COE from current employer.
Sinasabi nila personal application. Meron naapprove meron hinde.
PR application is a game of luck just like EPEC application and the rest of the working pass applications |
